Fun-Filled Weekend of Bicycling

The 20th Annual Fat & Skinny Tire Fest is an ode to National Bicycle Month and our all-size-tires and all-ages-invited shindig! Each year we host all kinds of cyclists from racers to casual riders, enthusiasts, and the curious, together in our Bicycle Friendly Community of Warsaw and Winona Lake, Indiana.

Help us grow support for our very own Ride&Walk Warsaw+Winona Lake community initiatives, the Winona Lake Trails, friends like Bicycle Indiana, and more. Come ride with us!

7:00 am - Wildman Business Group Countryside Tour & Century Registration & Check-In

Location: Village at Winona Tent

8:00 am - Wildman Business Group Countryside Tour & Century Grand Start

The 12/19/39/63/101 mile lengths of the countryside tour will go southeast of Winona Lake and explore springtime farmland and rolling hills. Enjoy this ride through beautiful Kosciusko, Whitley, and Wabash county scenery, and end the tour with a relaxing afternoon in the Village at Winona with a great lunch!

10:00 am - 3:00 pm: DINO Series Mountain Bike Races

The main state series for mountain bike racing will once again begin at the Winona Lake Trails this year—and you don’t want to miss out! The race is open to all skill levels, and riders will do one to three laps on the trails, depending on experience. This is a great chance for both new and seasoned riders to experience Indiana off-road.

12:30 pm - WCC BMX Stunt Show

Come watch some gravity-defying tricks that are usually only seen on the ESPN XGames! Our stunt shows presented by Warsaw Community Church take place right in the streets of downtown Warsaw and Winona Lake in the Village. Be sure to catch one or all of the three shows taking place on Friday night and Saturday afternoon. See the full event schedule for times!

1:00 pm - 4:00 pm: LKH Kids Events

Location: Village at Winona

The Fat & Skinny Tire Fest is for everyone – which is why we provide fun activities for all ages! This year’s LKH Saturday activities include KCV’s Tracey’s Trailer bicycle safety skills course, a decorate your bikes table, and bike-themed art projects.

1:00 pm -  Historical Winona Bike Tour

Location: Village at Winona

Take the leisurely 3.5-mile Winona Historical Bike Tour to experience the stories and history that make up Winona Lake! On this great adventure, you’ll discover Winona’s revitalized history and local sites of interest, including local bike racing facts dating back more than 100 years. You don’t need to be a professional cyclist to explore Winona in a fun and fascinating way!
