The East Tennessee State University Arboretum has been established to promote the beauty and diversity of the campus landscape, and to inform the public of the scientific, aesthetic, and economic values of plants in our environment. The Arboretum serves as a focal point for organizing and educating persons interested in improving the regional landscape and deepening their appreciation for the botanical richness of the Southern Appalachian Mountains.
