History:
The SpeedBourne Bradford Speedway is a quarter-mile banked natural clay track that first opened in 1954 at a location three-quarters of a mile northeast of the present location at the old Bradford Rodeo Grounds.  In 1958, the track was moved to its present location.  Also in 1958, the track hosted a NASCAR Grand National Series (forerunner of today's Sprint Cup Series), which was won by current NASCAR Team Owner Junior Johnson.  NASCAR stars Buck Baker and Lee Petty were among the drivers participating in that event.

Today, sixty years after the SpeedBourne Bradford Speedway first opened to the public, our races can generate crowds of 1,000-2,000 people and we feature live music, a full concession stand, beautiful SpeedBourne Bradford Speedway Trophy Girls and more at each of our events.

For local residents, the SpeedBourne Bradford Speedway holds many memories, and we're looking forward to creating new ones this season!
