Celebrate Independence Day at the City of Prairie Village’s 29th Annual VillageFest Celebration on Friday. Activities are held on the Municipal Campus at 7700 Mission Road and in Harmon Park.

The festivities begin with a pancake breakfast cooked up by Chris Cakes from 7:30 am to 10:30 am at the Harmon Park Pavilion. Breakfast is $6 per person.

8:30 - Patriotic Ceremony and Community Spirit Awards at Harmon Park Pavilion, Star Spangled Banner performed by Kristy Lambert

9:15 - Mayor’s welcome from the CFD2 Bucket Truck on the Skate Park Lawn

7:30-9 Pie Baking Contest Registration and pie drop off inside City Hall

11:00 - Pie contest results on the main stage

11:00 - Line up for the children's parade that begins at 11:15. Decorate your bikes, trikes and wagons to parade down Mission Road. All are welcome to participate. No registration necessary.
