Spoleto Festival USA fills Charleston’s historic theaters, churches, and outdoor spaces with performances by renowned artists as well as emerging performers in opera; theater; dance; and chamber, orchestral, choral, jazz, and contemporary music.

Opening Ceremony - Spoleto and the Charleston community unite to open the 49th Spoleto Festival USA at this public event.
1:00pm - music
Bank ofam - erica Chamber Music - Rich in revelry and fellowship, this Festival institution features globally renowned musicians performing 11 programs that span canonical classics and vibrant new works.
7:00pm - opera
Thaïs - This concert-staging of Jules Massenet's classic opera features the Festival Orchestra and Chorus on stage with the cast and dancers.
7:30pm - dance
Music from the Sole: I Didn’t Come to Stay - A Carnival-inspired performance by eight dancers and five musicians celebrating the beauty, complexity, and virtuosity of Black dance and music.
9:00pm - front row series
Corinne Bailey Rae - Known for soulful vocals and introspective lyrics, Corinne Bailey Rae performs her hits including “Put Your Records On” to open the Front Row Series.
