The Telluride Foundation, in partnership with the Peter Inglis Avalanche Education Fund (PI Avy Fund), is hosting the fifth annual Skidola, Telluride’s winter uphill race, on 3/14/25. The Skidola is an open-registration, on-snow uphill race from the Town of Telluride to the San Sophia Ridge. Racers can compete using microspikes, snowshoes, skis, or splitboards.
All racers will receive custom Skidola beanies, and prizes will be awarded to the top male and female finishers, best costume, and middle-place racer. This is a family-friendly race, welcoming both competitive racers and those who just want to have fun!
All proceeds benefit the PI Avy Fund and its mission to expand avalanche education and backcountry user awareness in the San Juan Mountains.
The first 25 people to register will be entered into a raffle for an Arc'teryx backpack, Telluride Mountain Club hat and hoodie, and Telluride Foundation blanket!
