Beer City Half
The day starts at A Place to Play with Beer City Half, which includes Half Marathon, 10k, 5k distances, as well as our Beer Stroll – a 1-mile walk with beer before and after. New in 2025, join us for Race The Rex. Brought to you by Mendocino Running Festival this is a beer mile with a twist on the beer mile. Race other drinkers but keep ahead of the T-Rex or you're out! The post-race celebration goes until 12pm and features multiple brewers offering the best of local beer, kombucha and cider. Tasting is part of your registration. Also, there will be bubbly water and sodas, as well as snacks for everyone. Every racer receives a custom Key to Beer City Santa Rosa finishing medal, shirt, and a special Beer City tasting glass.
Shindig! & The Beermazing Race
Starting at 1pm, the party moves to Moonlight Brewing for an afternoon of music, beer, food, and games. Clean up and then come join in the fun. Show off your Key to Beer City and Beer City Half Schwag. Shindig is free to join. Hang out here to head out to explore Santa Rosa and come back. Your ticket covers your first beer. Shindig serves as Beer City HQ for the rest of the day. Really want to drink local? Tap in for The Beermazing Race. This is a treasure hunt that challenges you to visit 5 or more taprooms in Santa Rosa and beyond. Hop on the Beer Trolley or tag a teammate as a DD.
