Join the Highland Park Recreation Department and Main Street Highland Park for our 15th annual Highland Park NJ "Run in the Park" 5k race & Kids' Races on Sunday, May 4th! Come take a run, walk, or stroll through the downtown and beautiful neighborhoods of Highland Park NJ for great cause. Race proceeds to benefit the Highland Park Public Schools PTOs.
The course, closed to traffic during the race, starts on North 5th Ave by the high school and then heads downhill towards New Brunswick for a fast first mile. The race then winds it’s way through the historic streets of Highland Park before finishing on the high school track. There is a link to the course map further down this page. The event welcomes all participants including strollers, wheelchairs, and walkers.
Kids races will take place on the track after the 5k at approximately 10am.
