The 2025 UNC Health Southeastern 5K, 10K and Fun Mile start and finish at the Rumba on the Lumber Festival on Saturday, March 8, 2025.  The course is beautiful, fast and fun.

Along 3rd Street between Chestnut and Walnut Streets, we'll have trucks and big equipment for young people to ogle, sit in, and enjoy!  Sponsored by Lumbee River EMC.

$2,500 Cash Prize
$20 per duck
$100 "Quack Pack" for 6 ducks
Each duck ticket purchased provides a child with a book per month for one year

You won't want to miss the 2025 Coors Banquet North of the Border Chili Cook-Off

11:00 AM- 2:00 PM - It is going to be hotter than a jalapeño on a summer day, and twice as exciting!   Come on down to the parking lot at 3rd and Water Streets (across from Adelio's), and for one small fee (with all of the proceeds going to the Lumberton Community College Foundation), you get to sample all the chili you can handle, listen to the Roots Rock & Roll and R&B sounds of Smitty and the JumpStarters, and have more fun than you oughta.

10:00-5:00 - All sorts of active fun for the children in your life, including a Dino Bounce House, an Iron Man Obstacle Course, a Monster Truck Slide, a Toy Block Bonanza Bounce House, a Soccer Challenge, a Frisbee Challenge, and a Rock Climbing Wall.

Beer Garden at The Alley of 219 Elm

Once again you can kick back and enjoy some tasty craft brews and other adult beverages with friends during the Rumba on the Lumber.  The folks at The Alley at 219 Elm will be open Friday evening and all day Saturday.
