PVD Cello Festival is an event committed to enriching the music scene in Providence by presenting concerts and educational workshops that celebrate the versatility of the cello.

Schedule:

10 am - 3:30 pm - Providence Public Library

10 am - Grooving on strings through Celtic and American roots folk music with guest Sammy Wetstein

​2:45pm- Tom Swafford's String Power is joined by an ensemble of cellists to play Pop, Jazz, and original tunes

7 pm - Mathewson Street Church

​Cello Fest concludes with a night of traditional folk, old-time music, and jams featuring 2025 guest artist Sammy Wetstein, the Vox Hunters, and more local cellists!

All Cello Fest Events are based on a sliding scale of $10-20, paid at the door
