The Village at Palisades Tahoe comes alive with the 18th annual Oktoberfest. The Village will transform into the largest Bavarian playground in North Lake Tahoe, complete with authentic German beer and food, Bavarian music and dance, plus the ever-popular OktoberGames. Enjoy live entertainment by Joe Smiell's 20 Piece Bavarian Band, the Almenrausch Schuhplattler Dance Troop, and the Sierra Alphorns, Alpentanzer Schuhplattler Dance Troop, accompanied by the Alpentanz Kapelle Band throughout the day.
The annual Oktoberfest now features the authentic Erdinger Weissbier, brand new VIP packages, and expanded non-alcoholic options. Authentic Brats, Pretzels, Swiss Slices, and traditional European desserts/pastries plus Root Beer Floats for the kids will be available for purchase.

Oktoberfestivities
Oktoberfest Games are FREE to enter. First come, first to participate. Games are at the Gondola Plaza!
Game Hours: 1PM - 4PM
Stein Race: 1pm- Teams of (2) compete in a speed walk through an obstacle course.
Brat Toss: 2:30pm - Toss the bratwurst onto a keg, with each round adding difficulty, last person standing wins.
Stein Holding Competition: 4:00pm - Competitors hold a full, 1-liter stein in one hand at shoulder height. Last competitor holding full steins wins.
