The Festival of Flags celebrates patriotism, family and friends - true American values. Free entertainment each evening.
The entertainment is free. We encourage you to bring your own chair.
Schedule of Events
8:30 a.m. - 1st Annual Festival of Flags Tim McCoy 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament, sponsored by Holzier Health System. Over 40, Adult under 40, and High School begins at Margret Ann Pool & Park, Washington St. Advance registration is encouraged
8:45 to 11:15 a.m. - Kids Fishing Tournament at Lake Jackson, Free breakfast snacks and drinks to participants. Prizes awarded at 11:30 a.m. First 100 kids get a free lure. Hosted by the Oak Hill High School Bass Fishing Team, with trophies and lures by The Big-O Carryout
9:30 a.m. - Registration opens for Pretty Baby Contest and Dog Show. Registration closes for each contest 15 minutes before the start of the event.
10 a.m. - Concessions, Crafts open
10:45 a.m. - Dog Show/Contest, sponsored by McFann's Mucky Pups, No entry fee, but we will be taking donations towards Oak Hill’s Dog Park
11:30 a.m. - Pretty Baby Contest, sponsored by Raymond and Charlotte Darnell, $10 advance / $15 day of contest entry fee
Noon - 4 p.m. - Free Kids Activities: Lollipop Prize Tree sponsored by Frazier Farms AND Kids Snack Time sponsored by Holzer Health System
1 p.m. - 1st Annual Festival of Flags Tim McCoy 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament, sponsored by Holzer Health System. Junior High will play at Margret Ann Pool & Park, Washington St. Advance registration is encouraged
1:30 p.m. - Pretty Baby Contest Winners announced.
1-3 p.m. - Meet Archie the Acorn at the Photo Booth, hosted by the Oak Hill Police, sponsored by Seth Michael, auctioneer
2 p.m. - 2025 Royalty Pageant
7 p.m. - The Twilights
The festival is held on the grounds of the Imogene Brunton Davis Memorial Building, in Aetna Park, 415 N. Front Street, Oak Hill, Ohio 45656. Some events are held at other location in the village, see the events listing for other locations.
