The International Mother Jones Festival returns from 1 PM - 5 PM! The celebration of the famous labor rights activist will include great food, music, children's programs, tours, historic demonstrations, and more! Traditional and new labor songs will be performed by Wildflower Conspiracy, Casting Runes, and Piasa Canyon. Food will be available from Kazoo Coffee, B and K Bakery Cookies, Local vendors offering sandwiches and cabbage rolls, as well as soda and lemonade. Macoupin Art Collective staff will present children's activities at their Art Bus. Magician 'Dr. Longhair' Randy Thompson will perform. You can also catch shuttle buses to the Union Miners Cemetery, see docents, and take a tour, see a Mother Jones exhibit at the Mount Olive Public Library, and take a tour of the Mother Jones Museum! Friends of the Mother Jones Museum will have commemorative and souvenir items for sale, including travel mugs, tee shirts, books, and magnets.

Admission is free to all events- food, coffee and souvenirs are for sale.
