Looking for something meaningful to do Memorial Day this year? Our Somerset County Wear Blue Chapter invites the community to join us this Memorial Day as we honor the fallen!

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?: Anyone! Community members of all abilities ! Children, strollers and dogs are all welcome too!

HOW DOES IT WORK?: Our event begins with a Circle of Remembrance where each participant is given the name of a fallen service member. Each participant is asked to read the name of the service member out loud as we go around the circle of remembrance. Each participant is then given the opportunity to speak the name of a fallen service member that they personally want to remember on Memorial Day. We then step off onto 2.4 mile self-paced walk or run through Colonial Park.

WHY?: Our goal is to read their names out loud and take purposeful steps for fallen service members so that they are not forgotten!
