Mardi Gras and Carnival returns to Greater Columbus Georgia in an ultimate cultural mashup Saturday, March 8th, 2025. The Fountain City Mardi Gras Association hosts 6th Annual Mardi Gras 5K, Parade, and Festival in Columbus, GA. The festival will take place in Downtown Columbus, GA. The festival is a family-friendly event filled with vendors, pageantry, youth attractions, food trucks, community tailgates, celebration of Mardi Gras and Carnival culture. This event is being organized by the collective efforts of the Fountain City Mardi Gras Festival Committee, business partners, and supporting organizations to celebrate Mardi Gras & Carnival. Festival goers can catch an array of treats in one of the community lots filled with with music, vendors, and more.
8AM : 5K RUN/1MILE WALK REGISTRATION.
9AM : 5K RUN/1MILE WALK Registration is $30.00. (Early Bird Registration $20 until DEC 31)
10AM: FOOD TRUCKS Vending is $75.
10:30AM: 5K Awards.
11AM: PROCLAMATION.
12PM : PARADE. YOU GET TO SEE THE PARADE TWICE! The parade route starts at the corner of 9th Street and 2nd Ave, Circle to front of Consolidated Government Building, Continue to Broadway at River Centre, Turn Right on Broadway, makes U-turn at 13th Street, continue south on Broadway, turn right on River Centre Parking Garage.
