Iola's awesome display of fireworks accompanied by patriotic music in celebration of the ratification of the Declaration of Independence.

The best place to view them is at Taylor Field, which will also have baseball games before the fireworks, including the Battle For The Axe between Iola and Scandinavia's fire departments. Ball games start at 5:00 p.m.

The food stand is operated by the T-Birds Booster Club and beverages by the Chamber.

Cash raffle tickets with limited ticket sales are available at local businesses plus at Taylor Field the evening of the fireworks. Ten cash prize winners will be chosen at Taylor Field just prior to the fireworks (dusk).

All proceeds go to paying for the fireworks.
