Freedom Fest returns Thursday, July 3rd, lighting up the heart of Downtown Laurens with live music, family fun, and a fireworks finale that’s bigger and brighter than ever before!!!
Whether you're here for the food, the music, or the unbeatable party atmosphere, you won't want to miss the most exciting Independence celebration in the Upstate.
Downtown Laurens will transform into a high-energy dance party as the sun sets. A new stage setup in front of City Hall will feature lights, motion, and color—creating the perfect backdrop for an evening of celebration.
This year’s entertainment lineup includes:
Steel Toe Stiletto, the Upstate’s premier high-energy band, bringing powerhouse vocals and a nonstop setlist of crowd favorites
Freddie McClendon, a rising Americana/Country star and South Carolina native
Havana Daydreamers, a Jimmy Buffett tribute band ready to sail you away with tropical hits
A patriotic set and special Veterans Tribute from crowd favorite Davidson Brass

Before the party kicks into high gear, Davidson Brass will help set a patriotic tone as the City honors our nation's heroes with a moving Veterans Tribute—a cherished tradition at Freedom Fest.
Families can enjoy a lively Kid Zone, featuring balloon animals, face painting, and interactive games—guaranteed fun for kids of all ages.
Food trucks and festive drink specials will fill the Square—but the real taste of Laurens comes from our downtown businesses. From signature bites at local restaurants to late-night shopping and special deals, downtown merchants will be open late to help you experience the full flavor and flair of Laurens.
As always, we’ll end the night with a fireworks show at 10 PM that lights up the sky and brings the entire community together.
