1:00 pm: Juneteenth Flag Raising Ceremony - New Haven Green Flag Pole

The official Juneteenth Coalition of Greater New Haven (JCGNH) welcomes all to commemorate the triumphant efforts of previous generations by raising the official Juneteenth flag-created by Connecticut resident Elder Ben Haith. Rejoice with JCGNH, city officials, a live trumpeter, and artists from New Haven for the inaugural exhibition and press conference. Join us as we usher in the month-long observance.
