Mohonk Mountain House is not open to the public on the 4th of July. An overnight reservation is required to join in the 4th of July activities.

Schedule of Events

9:30AM - 12:30PM: Morning Kids' Club: Fourth of July Celebration

Come to Kids’ Club for a morning of fun! Options will include rousing rounds of Gaga Ball, or relaxing and creating a colorful banner for our July 4th parade. Drop-off is available during the first half hour of any program for ages 4-12 only. A waiver must be completed for each child before their first session via the QR code at the Main Bulletin Board or Kids’ Club.

2:00PM - 3:30PM: Afternoon Kids' Club: Kickball

Let’s get ready to celebrate America with a fun variation on one of our favorite pastimes. Not baseball, but… KICKBALL! We’ll meet at the Council House (Kids’ Club), go over the basics, then head out with our bouncy red ball and let it fly. Drop-off is available during the first half hour of any program for ages 4-12 only. A waiver must be completed for each child before their first session via the QR code at the Main Bulletin Board or at Kids’ Club.

3:30PM - 4:30PM: Archery

Limit 30. Sign up required-no earlier than 24 hours in advance. Please call 845-256-2186 to sign up. No late admittance. Ages 13 and up. Closed-toe shoes required.

7:00PM - 8:30PM: Evening Kids' Club: Night Hike

Let’s get out in the evening air and soak up the summer night. We will hike to Sky Top Tower to get an incredible view of Mohonk Mountain House and up to six states! Bring comfy shoes and clothes for the evening weather. Drop-off is available during the first half hour of any program for ages 4-12 only. A waiver must be completed for each child before their first session via the QR code at the Main Bulletin Board or at Kids’ Club.

8:30PM: Evening Performance: Bubblemania!

The beauty, fun and wonder of bubbles, brought to us from the man who has “burst” onto stages all over the world. Casey Carle returns to Mohonk with his amazing one-man show!
