The Flowood Family Festival returns to Liberty Park on May 10 and will feature contemporary Christian music artist, Crowder, as the headliner. Known for his innovative blend of folk, rock, electronic, and urban elements, Crowder’s distinct style is characterized by his soulful vocals and eclectic instrumentation. With over 2.1 billion global streams, five No. 1 radio singles, five GRAMMY nominations, and over 20 Dove Award nominations, Crowder is one of the most influential voices in contemporary Christian music.
Rising Christian artist and powerhouse vocalist Charity Gayle will take the stage at 6:45 p.m. ahead of Crowder. A recent Dove Award recipient, Gayle writes music that ignites faith and revival, emphasizing themes of redemption, grace, and the transformative power of Jesus' name.
Since 1999, the City of Flowood has hosted the Flowood Family Festival, an outdoor concert that kicks off the summer season with live music, kids’ activities, fair food, fireworks, and more. Free admission is made possible by the City of Flowood with the support of Flowood Parks and Recreation sponsors and Visit Mississippi.
The festival will open at 4 p.m. with space jumps and activities for the kids, food vendors from local Flowood restaurants, and live music from Light of Mine. A fireworks display will follow Crowder’s performance, which begins at 8:30 p.m.
