Join the City of North Port for our annual Freedom Festival, presented by American Irrigation. This family-friendly signature event includes fun activities, great vendors, plenty of food options, and of course fireworks.
Kick off the event with an unforgettable opening ceremony! Imagine at North Port Young Marines will present the colors for the National Anthem, to be performed by Jennifer Montalvo, followed by an awe-inspiring flyover by the Gulf Coast Raptors Formation Flight Team. The ceremony will conclude with inspiring remarks from City officials. It’s the perfect way to start a day of celebration and patriotism—don’t miss it!
On the front Event Lawn of the stadium will be a Patriotic Play Zone, which will feature free activities including bounce houses, lawn games, music, and more. New this year—Carnival Games available with card purchases only! The Loveland Center will also offer a low-sensory area for children with special needs.
Inside the stadium, you'll find Firecracker Lane, a lively stretch along the concourse featuring a variety of vendors and community organizations offering goods and information. Live music will be performed throughout the night by American Made Band.
Seating will be available both inside the stadium and outside on the Event Lawn. If watching the fireworks show from the Event Lawn, the public is welcome to bring blankets or chairs to enjoy the show. No personal fireworks, sparklers, animals, or stickers will be permitted.
Get ready for a high-energy, interactive musical experience with American Made – a band that’s more than just a band. Covering crowd-pleasing hits from the 60s through the 80s, American Made delivers a fun-filled performance that turns every show into a party. From dancing in a conga line to joining the band on stage for bongos and limbo, the audience is always part of the action.
Fans will surf along to classics like "Surfin’ USA" and groove to timeless tracks including "Good Lovin’," "Tequila," and "Wipeout." The band also features a special set with the American Made Blooze Brothers, performing songs from the Blues Brothers and other hits like "Mustang Sally" and "Jailhouse Rock."
American Made has opened for several national acts, including Gary Puckett and the Union Gap Band, The Association, and two sold-out shows for a Boston tribute band. They’ve even shared the stage with Toto’s lead singer, Bobby Kimball, at a private event. Whether on the main stage or in the crowd, American Made brings the fun, keeping the energy up even during intermissions.
Fueled by a true love of music and performance, American Made guarantees a show that your audience won’t just watch—they’ll be part of.
