Join us for the 3rd Annual Butterflies & Blueberries 5k trail run/walk, lovingly honoring Amaris Eliana Young.

The course trail will take you through rows of Blueberry bushes where Amaris picked berries, over the ditch Amaris walked countless times to the upper patches and down and up the most challenging place on the course that we call, bubble mountain… winding through the big field where Amaris had practiced driving a standard. And down a hill that will lead you back to the start/finish line. This 3 time around trail will push you! But while you run or walk you will be encouraged and cheered on!

This timed event will have awards for Top 3 Male and Top 3 Female finishers. Awards will be presented by Amaris’ family after the race!

If you’re not really into running or walking in the 5k, we have something for you too!

There will be a breakfast with donation, beginning at 7am, with the famous Burton’s buttermilk pancakes & blueberry syrup! And if you don’t like pancakes, Check out the raffle! Keep an eye on Facebook to see what will be included in the raffle! Maybe you’d like a 5k T-shirt?! T-shirts are sold separately too! Want a special picture? Take a picture with the butterfly mural!
