The Big Mountain Run – Danny On Hill Climb 43rd Annual is Saturday, July 26th, 2025!
Start: 9:30am at the Danny On Trailhead in the Upper Village (near Hellroaring Saloon)
Finish: Where the Danny On reaches the cat track to the Summit House
Event Description
Run or hike 3.8 miles with 2,200 ft. elevation gain to the summit of Big Mountain
Compete for the title of King and Queen and Prince and Princess (16 &under) of the Mountain, Top Dog (fastest leashed dog), Oldest and Youngest runner, and the Birthday Club!
Registrants will receive awards, awesome raffle opportunities, and snacks at the top!
Race Awards
Awards for Top 3 men, Top 3 women, and Ribbons for juniors.
Fastest adults (King and Queen)
Fastest juniors (Prince and Princess)
Oldest Runner and Youngest Runner
Top Dog! Fastest dog on a leash.
Birthday Club:
Men: Finish in a time less than your age, receive a cupcake!
Women: Finish in a time equivalent to your age, plus 10 minutes, receive a cupcake!
Cost
Early registration for ages 17 to Adult is $35 per individual, and day of race registration is $40.
$15 for Juniors (16 and under), and $20 day of race registration.
Online registration closes at 8pm the day before the race. You may register the day of from 8:00am to 9:10am by the start of the Danny On Trail for an additional $5 per person.
