Welcome to the home page for the 27th Annual North Plains Elephant Garlic Festival. This free event is operated by the North Plains Events Association for the City of North Plains.

In these parts, North Plains is best known for the beloved Elephant Garlic Festival - its Signature event holding a lively three day celebration each August. At the heart of it all is Stinkee, our charming and cuddly garlic bulb mascot, who captures the spirit of this family-friendly event. The festival brings together locals and visitors alike to enjoy live music, artisan crafts, enjoyable activities and mouthwatering garlic-infused fare, all in a welcoming, community-centered atmosphere.

Schedule of Events:

10:00 am - 08:00 pm: Crafts vendors open
10:00 am - 11:00 pm: Festival grounds, food vendors and beer/wine garden open
10:00 am - 06:00 pm: Friends of the North Plains Library Book sale, inside Jessie Mays Community Center
10:00 am - 11:00 pm: Parade down Main Street and Commercial St.
10:30 am - 01:00 pm: Fire Station 17 Open House
11:30 am - 02:30 pm: Car Show
12:00 pm: Reptile Man First Show (Inside the Jessie May's Community Hall)
02:00 pm: Reptile Man Second Show (Inside the Jessie May's Community Hall)
