Hunting regulations in Washington will depend on the animal being hunted, the area where it is being hunted and the weapon used. For all hunters, orange must be worn above the waist and be visible from all sides. Hunter reports are mandatory for many big-game species and other animal species. There are three main regulation pamphlets for Washington hunters, those hunting big game, those hunting migratory waterfowl or upland game, and for those hunting wild turkey in the spring.
