Winter is a beautiful time of year, and visitors have their choice of the Village Inn Lodge with 72 cozy rooms or The Village Green Inn with 14 rooms that can also be rented for a group. You’ll have a fun-filled winter weekend either place.
With the desire to create a place that was open year-round where people who loved the outdoors could bring their RV and other recreational vehicles, Hesterville Properties has been one of Kentucky’s best kept secrets. Located on the edge of Kentucky Lake and not far from Kentucky Dam Village State Resort Park, there are 22 spaces for camping trailers/recreational vehicles up to 45 feet long. Public utilities are available and there are boat ramps and boat storage available.

Land Between the Lakes has “over 500 miles of trails and 200 miles of scenic roads” that are yours for the discovery. Come enjoy the holiday season with one of the productions at the Badgett Playhouse in Grand Rivers. There is never a dull moment, especially in December at this 285 seat playhouse. Take in the views of the beautiful Honker Lake on the 4.5-mile Honker Trail. The trail “winds around Honker Lake through a variety of habitats: dense forest, meadows, and along the lakeshore,” so be sure to put on your hiking boots and dress accordingly.
